Henan food and agricultural products exports exceed 20 billion yuan

The reporter learned from Henan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau that in 2016, the export of food and agricultural products in our province exceeded 20 billion yuan.

　　In order to promote the export of food and agricultural products, the province issued "2016 Henan Province to promote the export of food and agricultural products action plan", which is the national professional issued from the provincial government level to promote the export of food and agricultural products action plan.

　　According to the relevant person in charge of Henan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, the Bureau last year to help Nanyang successfully create a national professional export food and agricultural products quality and safety demonstration city; the new national export food and agricultural products quality and safety demonstration zones 7, the total number of 23, ranked second in the country; the new provincial-level demonstration zones 16, the total number of 117, and to achieve full coverage of the demonstration zones of the 18 provincial municipalities. The Bureau also took the lead in the country to put forward the concept of "a county a product", the introduction of "a county a product" programmatic guidance documents, screening 14 core categories to cultivate, and promote the export of food and agricultural products. 　　In the export product categories, the value of edible fungi exports reached 1.013 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 11.09%; tea exports of 47 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 299.81% year-on-year, the increase in the first place. Larger increases were also seen in: vegetable exports of 173 million U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 105.86%; Sanmenxia fruit exports of 151 million U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 20.98%.
